Can my man cave be portable?
Freestanding annexes are permanent structures but if you opt for a log cabin man cave then it can be easily dismantled and taken with you to your next home.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes, all work completed by M20 Builders Ltd will be fully guaranteed. You will always be informed of your guarantee prior to any booking taking place. Any products used within your home by us will also have full manufacturers warrantees.
How close can I build to my boundary?
In order to stay in line with building regulations you will need to allow at least 1 meter from your boundary on all directions of your new building.
What is the average sized man cave you build?
We often find the average sized man cave we build is around 8×8 meters.
Will I need planning permission for my man cave?
No, many times, you will not need planning permission for a man cave. Providing it is not infringing on your boundaries and is smaller than 10×10 meters.

Site clearance is extremely important to the M20 team. After any work is completed by us we will ensure that your home is left as it was found with no rubbish or debris left behind by out team.
Do man caves add value to my home?
The value added will be dependent on the structure built, a concrete free-standing annex will add a lot more value than a log cabin however either will make your home more desirable on the market. Man caves can add value to your home but not all the time as your homes value can be capped by your areas ceiling price.
